Lexi is a friendly vribrant playful Boston Terrier that has brought me heaps of joy and laughs since bringing her home. She started out as a therapy dog for me to help heal from my PTSD. She has gone through a life threatening experiece going into labour with her first litter of pups. She was expecting 8 puppies. I had to be her midwife during the whole ordeal and managed to deliver 5 of the 8 babies by hand. She was in labour for too long and almost died as 2 of the babies got stuck in her birthing channel. I tried to help her get them out with no luck. Off to the VET on a Sunday late afternoon... Stress hit. The VET couldn't get the pups out and had to revert to a emergency c-section and sterilization procedure. She fully recovered and the pups who survived went to loving homes. I believe we are only as strong as the experiences we grow through. I am glad that I have Lexi by my side to take on this unknown mess called life. Lexi is a ray of sunshine and her presence brings joy to anyone she meets along her journey. Thank you for reading our little story of triomphe and overcoming life's challenges together.
